I attended Peter’s workshop last spring and came away with so many things to implement in my classroom. Peter’s presentation was insightful and inspiring and just what I needed to make it through the end of the year. I look forward to learning more from him in the future!
This workshop is a fantastic opportunity for you as an educator to dive deeper into the why and how of interacting with your students! Peter Briggs is concise, articulate and passionate about reaching students at their level and inspiring them into their own best potential. He will inspire you in your teaching as well. Check it out, you won’t regret it!
Peter is a phenomenal educator with philosophies that will live on for the betterment of our students and teachers. His instruction provides a realistic and compassionate approach for those in low demographic schools (and everywhere), giving you tools and thought processes that you can use to shape a personal and reformative look at your teaching, and your relationship to your students. Highly recommend this workshop!
Peter is totally just as good (and I’d say better even) than Grace Dearborn. I don’t want to see him leave the classroom, but definitely have him do more training for all staff.
Best PD EVER! Seriously, I loved the positivity, the amazing tools, the immediate application, the emphasis on self-care & love of the profession and our students… I could go on and on. I hope you do many more of these.
Best PD workshop I have attended in Tacoma Public Schools! Excellent presentation skills. Very useful and applicable content. And enthusiasm and positivity had me enjoying every moment of the training! Good job!
I’ve been teaching for 7 years and this was the most inspiring PD I’ve ever attended. Not only was it inspiring, but it has GREATLY impacted how I approach my students, lesson planning, and my perspective of what my job is / what my goal should be as an educator.
I’m so thankful for this workshop! Very useful information that’s relevant to us – YES! I appreciated that it drew on several relevant texts to support the concepts.
Please continue building this workshop! It can be a great thing for teachers especially new to the profession or district.
